After a long search for a store front, The Galerie of Pella opened its doors May 2, 2006, just days before Pella's annual Tulip Time Festival. The Galerie is an all Iowa gallery which features the area's best artists and fine craftsmen. Some have much experience, and some are just starting out on their journey, but all are quite talented. On display you will see numerous wall art: acrylics, watercolors, pencil sketches, color pencil drawings and photography. You will also find blown and fused glass items along with hand-painted silk, jewelry, pottery and wood carvings.

The Galerie is owned by a husband and wife team with Pella roots.

In January 2009, we were able to acquire a larger building to combine The Galerie and The Boutique of Pella into one convenient space. After remodeling, we were able to open the Boutique side in February and had the grand opening of the Galerie in April. Now, we are located just off the square at 626 Franklin. When shopping Pella be sure to enjoy all the downtown shops Pella has to offer!
